THE CARVING: A pair of fantails. Carved from totara that used to be a fence post. Eyes are onyx, legs cast metal and painted with artist acrylics.

Set upon found wood.

THE BIRD: Endemic to New Zealand. Fantails are found on all islands though not in tussock lands and alpine areas.


Life size. Wall mounted. Approximately 460mm high x 360mm wide x 150mm out from wall.
